I was eager to try something new - so this is my latest endeavor. Hats.
You can choose a hat with six different panels or a straight front/ top. The top part on this pink and white one is made of 6 pieces. The sweet white ribbon around the brim...too cute.
This hat is the straight front/top variety, but the brim is actually a tri-level brim so the fabric variety and design shows up differently in that style.
I tried one with all the same print and a thicker ribbon.
Then another scalloped edge one, thick ribbon, same fabrics.
I tried this one with a velcro chin strap. I'm not sure I love the chin strap, but there it is. In music fabric of course!

fuzzy shapes
I started with two fuzzy fabrics and ended up with a soft, cuddly toy perfect for stuffing in the diaper bag or attaching to the car seat.
My daughter is quite the fabric-a-holic. She takes after her mom! This yellow smiley face is her favorite thing to rub against her cheek and suck on.
The pink fleece is just a little soft something I keep stuck in the diaper bag.
This monogrammed toy makes me think of all the other possibilities for embroidery and novelty fabrics. Better go get to work!

a trip to the library
This is my son's new library book bag. He chose the Clifford fabric and I did the rest. Attached inside is a pocket to hold his library card. The appliqued square and name (shown below) is for another bookworm ready to head to the library!
Lastly - another bag for a curious reader!I was having so much fun picking the special fabrics for this customer. Curious George of course!!!
darling shirred dresses
These two dresses were made with store-bought shirred fabric. My customer just gave me her daughter's chest measurements, and I tried a couple different types of straps. Luckily she was short enough that I could just trim fabric off the bottom and use that for the straps.

adorable aprons
This adorable apron was made for the "little cupcake" of the family - a girl named Grace. Now she's ready to cook with her aunt!
This little craft apron has 3 pockets perfect for holding all of Emma's supplies. The appliqued purple flower in the middle matches the purple and green ribbons trimming the neckline and pocket openings.

fuzzy cube picture
This toy is covered with pictures of the grandkids and makes a perfect toy to keep at grandma's house for little visitors. Luckily we all live close-by, but I can see that some people would love using pictures of far away relatives for their child's toy.

flannel + minkee = sweet touch
A couple fun flannel/minkee blankets I've done for customers. So many cute girly designs to choose from!
more than a name...
Just a couple flannel blankets I've done recently for customers.
I used their nicknames, picked a motif from the patterned flannel, and put my embroidery machine to work!
fuzzy cube plus
These cubes were made especially for two new girls in my life. I embroidered their initial on one side, and added other specialty items like fuzzy ribbon and buttons. Even though you can't hear it, trust me - there's a jingle bell inside!
This little boy has a daddy who studies frogs. Won't this be just perfect??
And surprise, surprise - this one is a gift from grandma and grandpa.
