His name is Leif and he is a seeing eye dog.
My mom and two of her four sisters have a degenerative eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa. Both of my aunts have seeing eye dogs. I am so glad my son had the chance to spend time getting to know more about what a working dog can do. And I'm glad he had a chance to play and cuddle with a fun friend.
