My item for the day is a strawberry onesie dress. It is sewn with a few fat quarters of Elanor's Picnic by P&B Textiles. I made the original for a friend, but loved it so much I made one for my daughter, and have enough fabric to send one to some other lucky little girl!!!
Here's a close-up of the strawberry. It was appliqued on the front of the onesie and made to match the stripes of the skirt.

What a cute dress! We live by the seasons, as well. Currently we're eating a LOT of strawberries, pineapples and bananas. And sometimes all of them mixed together in a smoothie. According to my littlest, every fruit is "apple" though. :)

My favorite fruit is the strawberry as luck would have it. Some people complain that they go bad too quickly, but I don't have that problem too often as I can eat a half flat in two days.

Ok, you should not have asked me that question! I'm what they call a fruit bat! My Dad grew up on a farm in Tasmania, Australia, and has introduced me to every fruit to be had! I don't have a favourite! Pineapple, kiwi fruit, strawberries, cherries, blueberries, goosberries, raspberies, balck and red currants, mangoes, lychees, onranges, mandarins, passionfruit, watermeon, bananas, coconuts, dragon fruit, pawpaws, blackberries, mulberries, apricots, peaches, necterines, rockmelon, bush tomatoes, custard apples, lemonades, figs, grapes, cashew nut fruit, durians, cumquats, prickly pears, pears, avacados....the list is endless. I'm sure I'll thik of more after I send this message!

Such a cute dress! I love strawberries. I grew up in CA but I now live in WI and I miss the fresh HUGE strawberries that I used to be able to get.
Oh how adorable! I really think you can't go past a good watermelon...unfortunately they are harder and harder to find, since I live in the middle of nowhere, and all fruit has to be bought at the big stores...but when I get the chance to buy from the roadside, I can easily eat a HUGE amount!

My favorite fruit is the boysenberry. We used to have a lovely boysenberry farm here where I bought flats every year and made jams and pies - but they took it out last year to widen a road! Horrible!

Adorable skirt fabrics! As far as my favorite season, here in Florida we have only 2: Hot, and Not as Hot. I prefer Not as Hot. The kids don't go outside so much in Hot so we have to come up with more indoor activities.

I have a little girl on the way who would love a little onesie dress! My favourite fruit would have to be the very simple apple. I swear my son is made up of about 77.8% apple.
